“Rising Through” captures the powerful moment when strength emerges from uncertainty. Waves surge upward beneath an expansive sky, expressing resilience, renewal, and the quiet determination to move forward despite life’s changing tides. Inspired by the energy of the sea, the painting invites the viewer to embrace transformation, finding hope not beyond the storm, but within its movement and light.

Built with molten encaustic wax, pigments, oil pastels, alcohol ink, and mixed media collage, this original painting combines luminous depth with richly textured surfaces. As natural light moves across the wax, subtle details emerge, giving the artwork a living presence. Designed to evoke calm and quiet strength, it brings warmth and contemporary coastal elegance to modern interiors.
