About Me

Meet the Artist

Original Encaustic Art Shaped by Memory & Material

I’m Angela Vitosinscaia, a UK-based Moldovan artist working with encaustic and mixed media.

My work explores memory, identity and inner transformation through layered surfaces of beeswax, pigment, lime, fabric, sand and natural materials.

My current practice is structured around Seven Healing Layers – an artistic framework that brings together different bodies of work as stages of an evolving inner journey.

Through layering, concealing, revealing, burning and rebuilding surfaces, I explore how lived experience becomes embedded in material – and how what has been fragmented can acquire new form and meaning.

Once, I was hidden beneath layers created by others. Through art, I learned to create my own layers – and my own reality.

My Values

Material, Memory & Transformation

I value authenticity, emotional depth and the physical language of materials. Through wax, fire and natural elements, I explore how memory and lived experience can be transformed into new meaning.

My Vision

To create a visual language where material, memory and experience come together through transformation and conscious creation.

My Mission

My art is an invitation to reconnect with ourselves, accept what we have lived through, and discover the possibility of consciously creating what comes next.
